Community Coalitions and Empowerment Project (CCEP)
This project is run in partnership with Best Starts for Kids King County. Our mission is to bring families together by connecting them to resources and services that provide stable and culturally reflective developmental screenings and childcare in Federal Way. We provide positive communal spaces for families to come together, connect and heal through a holistic process that authentically serves families and ensures that each child in the program has a healthy development in early years.

Our services include:
ASQ developmental screenings
Connect families to resources, providers, medical referrals, etc.
Access to weekly report from city council meetings
Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) Training for daycare providers
Access to group/network

Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) Training and earn 4 STARS credit
Join us for our Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) Training. Walk away with 4 STARS credit and skills and knowledge to know how to utilize developmental screening tools to support children and families.
Participants will learn about the ASQ-3 tool which measures 5 typical areas of development (communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, personal/social).
Participants will also learn the ASQ-SE tool which measure social and emotional growth.
This training will be held virtually through Zoom. Once your registration is accepted we will email you a link and materials for the training.
This session will be on Saturday, October 24,2020 from 10am - 2:30pm. We will have a lunch break at 12noon.
