How do I register to vote?
In Washington, you have three ways of registering to vote: mail, online or in-person. You must be registered to vote or have your information up-to-date in order for your vote to be counted. Due to Covid-19, we recommend registering to vote and voting as soon as possible to avoid delays.
You can register to vote by mail by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your local election office. Registration forms submitted by mail need to be received 8 days before the election.
You can register or update your info online until 8 days before an election.
Vote centers are available throughout King County, beginning on October 14th, for in-person registration and ballot assistance. You can find a vote center near you at this link:
You can also register in-person on Election Day.
